Welcome to Boston!
30somethings is a community for characters over 30 years old. The game will encompass the residents of Boston, Massachusetts. Why are we limiting the community to characters at least 30 years old? Basically so it will be a place your older characters can flourish and grow. Each character should have at least three or more connections. Those connections can consist of relatives, friends, co-workers, exes, crushes, and lovers, Your character can have more than three connections, which is strongly encouraged.
There will be no premades or pre-existing connections mapped out for you. Instead you are encouraged to develop your character as you please and use other writers to help you do so. Any character over 30 years of age is allowed. Any pb who’s age is under 30 years old, will only be allowed with mod approval.
We can promise to be here as long as you are, no matter how many characters there are. We want the community to be friendly, welcoming, and diverse. Please use the storyline community, ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) 30lines to help with connections.

· Do not cross OOC and IC lines, this should be pretty self explanatory by now.
· Realism is the key here; please make sure to do your research.
· PB's must be of knowingly famous people. Those that are deemed 'original' or taken from MySpace, Facebook, etc are not considered to be knowingly famous. Relatives, unless they have a career themselves which launches them in the public eye, are not accepted either. A career is then defined as being an actor, musician, etc.
. Update limit is every three weeks. Please post a substantial journal entry or thread. Journal entries and threads help further character development which is what we are all about.
· A hiatus can be requested and will be granted only under the following conditions; a hiatus will not be shorter than one week or longer than four, and if a player is seen active on aim or their journal the mods will assume that the player is back and ready to be taken off hiatus. Please post a comment in the dropbox if you need to request a hiatus.
· Character journals must only contain names only, no numbers or underscores please. AIM screen names are not required but strongly encouraged. They must at least contain the character’s first or last name. Also, currently at this time, the character limit per member is four.
· Within two days of being accepted, you must post an introduction in the main community . Failure to do so will result in removal.
· To join ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) 30somethings , you must have a connection with at least three characters in the community, or coming into the community.
